Tyler’s expertise is retail real estate. He has worked with retailers of all shapes and sizes across the country. Through his years of experience, he has mastered the art and science of the deal. Tyler is a data junkie with a vast knowledge of demographic and psychographic analysis used to create and understand retail trade areas. He is able to use that data coupled with first hand market knowledge from Salt Lake City to the Atlantic Ocean. He started his career in 2004, in the real estate department at Books A Million. Most recently he was Vice President of Real Estate at Books A Million where he lead a team to grow the retailer’s footprint across the country and manage the existing portfolio of 250 stores. Tyler also spent five years as a retail broker, focused on tenant representation across the Southeast. He was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Birmingham News and BCRC in his first year and went on to win numerous Top Producer awards.
